Junk Removal in Orlando

Orlando homes don’t have basements, so the stuff lands in the garage, the lanai, and the spare room until somebody deals with it. Send JunkRabbit a photo and you get one flat price in seconds — a sofa is $126, a queen mattress $103, a quarter-truck garage clear-out $241 — and a vetted crew carries it all out.

We cover the whole 25-mile ring around downtown: Winter Park to Kissimmee, Sanford to Clermont, UCF to Dr. Phillips, plus the vacation-home belt around ChampionsGate and Davenport. Florida doesn’t tax junk removal, so there’s no sales-tax line on your total.

Junk Removal Pricing in Orlando

Every item in the catalog has a published Orlando price, and the number you accept from your photo is the number on the receipt. Stairs, the long carry from the back bedroom, and the dump fee are already inside it.

A few of the prices people ask about most — the quote page always shows the full, live list:

Orlando Price List

Item / loadPrice
Sofa / Couch$126

Queen Mattress$103
Refrigerator$164
Washer / Dryer$133 / $128
TV (42–65")$68

Minimum order: $75. Priced from your photo before the truck leaves — never raised at the door.

What the Flat Price Covers

Other haulers line-item these. Here they’re one number:

  • Crew and carry-out
  • Stairs and second floors
  • Gated-community check-in
  • Hauling and landfill fees
  • Donation routing
  • Freon-safe appliance handling

And no sales tax on top: Florida taxes goods and a short list of services, and hauling away your discards isn’t on it.

Whole Garages and Whole Houses

When it’s more than a handful of pieces, the job prices by how much of the 16-cubic-yard truck it fills — $241 for a quarter, $431 for half, $732 for a full load. The quote shows both the item-by-item total and the truck-fill total, and you pay whichever is lower.

Send a photo of the pile — the flat price comes back in seconds, before anyone gets in a truck.

How Junk Removal Works in Orlando

1

1. Snap a photo

One chair or a three-car garage. Our system identifies each piece and prices it from the Orlando catalog.

2

2. Accept the flat quote

Add or remove items, pick a pickup window. The total you accept is final — no sales-tax line, no door-side surprises.

3

3. We carry it out

A vetted, insured local crew loads it from wherever it sits — garage, lanai, upstairs bedroom — and routes it to donation, recycling, or disposal.

Every JunkRabbit Service in Orlando

Each service has its own page with Orlando prices, what the county will and won’t take, and answers to the usual questions:

Built for How Central Florida Actually Lives

A pickup in a 1920s College Park bungalow, a ChampionsGate vacation villa, and a Horizon West house that closed last month are three different jobs. The crew that shows up has run all of them.

Vacation Homes Around Disney

In Four Corners, roughly one housing unit in four is a seasonal vacation home, and owners refresh their furniture packages every few years.

We clear the old set between bookings, with photo proof sent to owners who are nowhere near Florida. ChampionsGate furniture swaps →

UCF’s July Lease Cliff

Off-campus leases along Alafaya run August to July, so the last week of July buries complex dumpsters in futons and desk chairs.

We price per item and haul from the third floor on move-out day. UCF move-outs →

Garages in the Master-Planned Suburbs

Hunters Creek, Waterford Lakes, Lake Nona, Horizon West — big garages, strict HOAs, and a rule against piles sitting at the curb.

We load straight from the garage, so nothing waits outside for a violation letter.

Lake Houses and Downsizing

From the Winter Park chain of lakes to Windermere’s Butler Chain and Mount Dora’s Lake Dora, a lot of Central Florida is long-held family homes changing hands.

Estate cleanouts are done carefully, with usable pieces routed to donation. Winter Park estates →

Free Bulk Pickup in Orlando — What It Takes, Town by Town

Central Florida has at least five different bulk-trash systems, and the one on your street decides whether you even need us. Here’s the honest version.

City of Orlando

Two large items per pickup, on your yard-waste day, and only what the crew can lift into the truck by hand. Fridge and freezer doors must come off. Anything heavier needs a separately priced claw-truck appointment.

Unincorporated Orange County

Weekly, on garbage day, up to three cubic yards set out between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Generous — but refrigerators and freezers aren’t collected at all; residents haul those to the landfill themselves.

Kissimmee

Not free. You phone in a request, the city bills you by the cubic yard on your KUA electric statement (twelve yards at most), and the crew won’t set foot past the curb — so every piece is yours to drag out first.

Winter Park, Seminole & Clermont

Winter Park runs free bulk collection only twice a year, in May and November. Seminole County is by appointment through your hauler and “not guaranteed.” Clermont takes three cubic yards a week, charges past that, and won’t touch more than ten.

If your pile fits your town’s rules and you can drag it to the curb, use the free program. When it doesn’t — a fridge in the county, a third couch in the city, anything in Kissimmee, eleven months of the year in Winter Park — that’s the gap we fill, carried out from inside, on a day you choose.

What We Haul Out of Orlando Every Week

Slab homes push the clutter sideways instead of down: into the garage, the screened lanai, the attic hatch nobody opens. Most weeks look like this.

The Regular Rotation

  • Garage clear-outs
  • Vacation-rental furniture swaps
  • Apartment move-outs
  • Old refrigerators and washers
  • Estate and downsizing cleanouts
  • Storm-soaked furniture and carpet
i
After Hurricane Milton, Orange County had collected about 34,000 of more than 100,000 cubic yards of debris a month later. Private pickup doesn’t wait in that line.

Routed, Not Just Dumped

Usable furniture goes to donation partners such as Goodwill Industries of Central Florida and the Orlando Union Rescue Mission; appliances go to metal recyclers because Florida bans white goods from landfills.

The sorting is already inside your flat price.

No Sales Tax on the Service

Orange County’s retail rate is 6.5%, Osceola’s 7.5% — but Florida doesn’t tax junk removal, so none of it lands on your quote.

Why Orlando Customers Choose JunkRabbit

Price Before the Truck Rolls

Catalog prices fixed from your photo — no one shows up to “take a look” and name a number on your driveway.

Carry-Out, Not Curbside

Curbside services make you drag it out. Our crews lift it from where it actually is.

Gates and HOAs Handled

Guard-gate check-ins, vendor passes, and no curb piles for the association to notice.

Insured & Vetted

Every crew is insured and vetted, and a certificate of insurance can be arranged for buildings that ask.

Afternoon-Storm Aware

Summer thunderstorms roll in most afternoons, so loads are tarped and morning windows go first.

One Price, No Tax Line

What you accept is what you pay — no fuel charge, no dump fee, no sales tax.

Orlando-Area Neighborhoods and Towns We Cover

Everything within about 25 miles of downtown Orlando, plus Davenport, Poinciana, Tavares, Eustis, Groveland and Harmony. Each page below is written for that part of town.

Orlando & Orange County

Osceola County & the Vacation-Home Belt

Seminole, Lake & Beyond

Also serving Ocoee, Oviedo, Winter Springs, Longwood, St. Cloud, Minneola, Montverde, Groveland, Tavares, Eustis, DeBary, Davenport, Harmony and everywhere in between — same flat prices.

Orlando Junk Removal FAQs

How much does junk removal cost in Orlando?

It’s flat and photo-quoted before anyone drives: sofa $126, queen mattress $103, refrigerator $164, washer $133, 42–65 inch TV $68. Larger loads price by truck-fill, from $241 for a quarter truck to $732 for a full 16-cubic-yard load. The minimum job is $75.

Do you charge sales tax on junk removal in Florida?

No. Florida taxes goods and a short list of services such as nonresidential cleaning, and hauling away your discards isn’t one of them, so your Orlando quote has no sales-tax line.

Why pay when Orange County picks up bulk items for free?

If your pile is under three cubic yards, has no refrigerator or freezer in it, and you can set it at the curb between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m., the county program is a good deal. We’re for everything else: fridges, bigger loads, items that are still inside the house, HOA streets that don’t allow curb piles, and anyone who can’t wait for collection day.

Do you work in Kissimmee, Clermont, and the Disney-area vacation homes?

Yes. The service area runs about 25 miles out from downtown Orlando and also includes Davenport, Poinciana, Tavares, Eustis, Groveland and Harmony, so Kissimmee, Celebration, ChampionsGate, Four Corners and Clermont are all covered at the same flat prices.

Can you pick up from a vacation rental when I’m not in Florida?

Yes. Owners and property managers send photos and a gate or lockbox code, the crew clears the unit between guest stays, and you get photos when the job is done.

Do you handle hurricane and storm debris?

Water-damaged furniture, carpet, and household contents, yes. Heavy renovation and storm-repair debris is routed to the Orange County Landfill on Young Pine Road, the one county site that accepts it — see the construction and storm debris page for details.

Ready to Clear It Out?

Send a photo and get the exact flat price in seconds — from $75, anywhere from Sanford to Kissimmee.

No sales tax on the service, no curb staging, no waiting for bulk day.
